Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival - April 27-29th 2007

Spent 4 days in Palm Springs for the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival. And it was AWESOME! The sun was blazing hot and just insane (whaddya expect for the desert?). There were tons of my favorite bands and musicians playing. The lineup included Bjork, Interpol, DJ Shadow, Stephen Marley, Satellite Party, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Girl Talk, Cut Chemist, The Teddybears and RAGE AGAINST THE MACHINE!! I'm glad that I didn't have to come down here to shoot the bands and work. Got to meet and hangout with lotsa people and musicians. All said and done, it was definitely a weekend that's gonna be sitting in my memory for a long time.

FourTwentyFour Concert - The Knitting Factory, Hollywood

Got a request from my buddies MERCENARIES, ONESIDEZERO and RED SNOW to shoot a concert going down at The Knitting Factory in Hollywood. It was a huge concert in recognition of the Armenian Genocide in 1915. The guys invited me on their stage and gave me an all-access pass to shoot from anywhere. That was alot of fun! Things got a little crazy. Other bands that were featured were Vokee, Medagh, Full Force Rising and Hypnogaja. Attached is a small sample of the images taken. Images should be available thru the bands respective websites. Check em out.

Sophia Biggs aka Sophenomenal goes to Hollywood

Did a casual photoshoot with my good friend, Sophia Jade Biggs aka DJ/MC Sophenomenal. With an Indian / Irish lineage, she's an exotic beauty with the most amazing green eyes. The weather was perfect (like every other day in Sunny California) and it turned out to be a fun day shooting on the Hollywood Boulevard. She's talented on the turntables and kicks ass it on the mic. She's got a show coming up real soon. Show her some love. Check her out.

DUB Magazine - Metal Mulisha

This was seriously one of the most fun assignments I've had. I shot the Metal Mulisha, a collective of some of the best Freestyle Motorcross riders in the X-Games. The "General" of the Metal Mulisha is Brian Deegan. You might know him as the first rider that ever landed a full 360 in competition. The guys pulled out some of their best rides and we had a blast shooting the team.

After the shoot, the guys pulled their bikes out and put on a private show for us. Images are attached below. Seeing the team pull off all their tricks effortlessly was amazing. Getting to shoot the tricks 10 feet from them, was even MORE amazing. This day was absolutely insane.

Images were all shot in Southern California at Brian Deegan's house and private track.
