Les Duex | Hollywood
Up and coming design "mogul", David Chen threw a bash at the trendy Hollywood Club, Les Deux. The party was in conjunction with the VH-1 show, The Pickup Artist. Featuring Mystery, Matador, J-Dog and the rest of his posse. It turned out to be quite an awesome night. There was so much going on. They were filming episodes for "The Hills" and "Entourage". There were photographers, hot models, money, champagne, good friends, lights, cameras and action. What more could you ask for?

International Photograhy Awards 2007!!!
WOW! I'm speechless. Where do I begin? (*Deep Breaths)
So I just found out that I won 3rd Place and an additional Honorary Mention, for my Automobile Campaign Project at ACCD. This is an international award for all Professional Photographers Worldwide. It's a really huge and prestigious award. I can't even describe how stoked I am. To keep this simple, I'll just put up the description email I received.
"It is with great pleasure to announce that you have been recognized as a winner in the 2007 International Photography Awards! This is no small feat as this year’s competition was the largest it has ever been – generating nearly 20, 000 entries from over 90 countries! For a complete list of jurors, please visit the PHOTOAWARDS website. In celebration of your achievement, we would like to give OVERALL category winners two (2) free tickets to the Lucie Awards ceremony (held in New York City) where then International Photographer of the Year, Discovery of the Year and The Deeper Perspective International Photographer of the Year will be announced."
WOOHOO! :)

MYA COVER SHOOT
I've been a fan of Mya since the early days when she did Ghetto Superstar (feat Wyclef Jean, Pras and ODB) and the Moulin Rouge Soundtrack, Lady Marmalade (feat. Lil Kim, Pink and Missy Elliott). It was pretty cool being able to spend the day with her. The shoot went down at the legendary Sunset-Gower Studios on Sunset Blvd, where they were filming her latest Music Video. The director was no other than the maestro, Erik White (who has worked with every big name in the Industry). This shoot was for the cover of DUB Magazine. Below are the images from that shoot.

Indy Car Campaign
I had the honor of putting my vision and retouching magic on images shot exclusively by photographer Jeanette Paredes. It was a campaign revamping the image for Indy Car. This new series is called Indy-Hero. Jeanette hired me to retouch the campaign and it turned out to be an awesome collaboration.

Zenetti Skate Team | X-Games 13 | Los Angeles
Shot the Zenetti Skate Team. Some of the best professional skateboarders in the industry. The shoot went down at the private mini-ramp at the back of Brooklyn Projects on Melrose Blvd. The shoot was awesome and many people came out for autographs and just to gawk. It was awesome having such a huge crew on set. The crew consisted of Paul Rodriguez (aka P-Rod), Terry Kennedy, Jereme Rogers, Braydon Szafranski and Stevie Williams. (Check out P-Rods' new Nike kicks). The guys were awesome to hang out with. I could not have asked for a better day. It was a typical sunny Californian afternoon. I love shooting here! Many of the guys went on shortly to take part in the X-Games 13, held in Los Angeles. All the best to the guys competing! Look out for it in the newstands pretty soon.

X-Games 13 Launch Party
X-Games 13 Launch Party held at the Montmartre Lounge / Day After in Hollywood. All the athletes from the X-Games were there partying before the games swung into full effect. The party was hosted by the Zenetti Skate team, that I shot recently. It was pretty cool hanging out with everyone that night. Pictures are courtesy of PubDistrict.
