OMG! I want one of these, STAT!!!
RED just went official with its DSMC (Digital Stills and Motion Camera) System. The system starts with your choice of the professional Scarlet or "master professional" EPIC brains which can then be bunged into about 2,251,799,813,685,248 possible camera configurations, RED only half-jokingly chides. The brains are built upon Mysterium-X and Mysterium Monstro sensors which start at 2/3-inch and end at a whopping 6x17-cm -- when a new sensor comes out you just upgrade the brain. Scarlet will launch in 4 choices ranging from $2,500 (and possibly less) to $12,000 with a variety of lens mounts (yes, Canon and Nikon) capable of shooting 3K @120fps on up to 6K @30fps. Epic will offer similar mounts with capabilities spanning 5K @100fps ($28k) to 9K @50fps ($45k) -- a 28K system hitting 25fps is expected in 2010 for $55k. Still image resolutions will range from 4.9 megapixels to a freakish 261!!! megapixels. The first Scarlet systems could come as early as Spring of 2009 while EPIC should arrive by summer.
Please feel free to send one over here for testing.

West Coast Customs : LA River, California
Just got off a HUGE production shoot for West Coast Customs and the crazy geniuses at the Loyalty, Inc. Their entire reality show crew was there too. This turned out to be an even bigger production than I thought. I'm also beginning to get so used to having cameras being around all the time. It was only 2 years ago when I felt so weird being on the other side of a camera. Anyway, this shoot was amazing and the visuals came out DOPE! Can't wait to see the finals. In the meantime, check out the images below...

VERNE TROYER | Los Angeles, California
Did a killer photoshoot with Mr. Verne Troyer (from Austin Powers 'Mini Me' Fame). He was such a cool dude! Hung out all day and shot some really cool images that I'm totally stoked with!! More images to be launched by his management team in time to come. We're shooting again pretty soon, so that would be totally cool.

MIAMI BABY!!!!!
Whoah! I had such an awesome time in Miami! There was a party on a yacht on the first day and this makes me want my own. The weather was hot and humid... not really my style, but it was a nice change from LA's perfect weather we've been having. Thanks to everyone that took such great care of us while we were down. We have to head back and party more!
Trying to be a badass
(which we all know that I'm not!!)

Shaneal | Los Angeles, California
Behind the scenes from a photoshoot I did with Australian Sensation, Shaneal. Picked up the new car and this is the first shoot with it. The shoot was covered by a reality show that will be airing around January 2009. It was a great experience. Look out for it.

Criss Angel @ The Luxor - Las Vegas
Shot Criss Angel at the Luxor in Las Vegas. This had to be one of the most fun shoots. Everything about Criss Angel is extravagant. His jewelry, his toys, his penthouse, his show were simply over the top. On top of it it, he was humble and really cool.
And no, he didn't fly in front of me. Bummer!

(Note: He actually had way more, but they don't make camera lenses that wide enough to fit them all in)

The Dirrrrty South - ATL
Flew to ATL to shoot big dog, T-Pain at his home . It was summer and it was HOOOOOTTTT! What else can I say?
The experience itself was amazing. T-Pain's crib was utterly and completely ballin'. This was one of the most lavish shoots. T-Pain has his group of private chefs there cooking us crazy meals ranging from a Mango Chutney Salmon to good ol' BBQ RIBS. My favorite!! Unfortunately I have Videos that can't go up just yet. For now, you'll have to settle for pictures.
